Every rig stress-tested and benchmarked before it's priced
A gaming PC that crashes under load is worthless, so nothing goes on sale until it has survived sustained stress testing — CPU, GPU, memory and thermals — and been benchmarked in real games. Refurbished rigs get fresh thermal paste, a full clean and honest spec listings; custom builds get quality parts, careful cable management and honest advice on where your budget actually buys frames.
Frequently asked questions
Is a refurbished gaming PC worth it?
Usually, yes — GPUs and CPUs don't wear out the way batteries do, so a properly tested two-year-old rig delivers near-identical performance to new at a fraction of the price. The risk with used rigs is the seller, not the silicon — which is why ours are stress-tested and warrantied.
What warranty do refurbished gaming PCs come with?
A 12-month return-to-base hardware warranty, honoured by our own Nottingham workshop. If a covered fault develops, we repair or replace — no courier lottery.
Can I upgrade the PC later?
Yes — we only sell rigs on platforms with sensible upgrade paths, and we'll tell you at purchase what the realistic next upgrade is. We fit upgrades in the workshop, usually same day.
Do you take my old PC in part-exchange?
Working PCs and components can be traded in against a refurbished rig or custom build — bring it in or tell us the spec and we'll make an offer.
Refurbished or custom build — which should I choose?
If a rig in stock matches the games you play, refurbished is the best value. If you have a specific budget, aesthetic or performance target, a custom build hits it exactly. Tell us both and we'll give you an honest comparison — we sell both, so we've no reason to push either.
