Repairs

Every repair starts with a free diagnosis and a fixed quote. No chargeable work begins until you approve the quote. If we cannot fix the fault, you pay nothing (our “no fix, no fee” promise).

Warranty

Repairs — 90 days

All repairs are covered by a 90-day parts and labour warranty. If the same fault returns within 90 days of collection, we will repair it again at no extra charge. The warranty covers the fault we repaired and the parts we fitted; it does not cover new or unrelated faults, subsequent accidental damage, liquid damage occurring after the repair, or software issues unrelated to the work carried out.

Liquid damage repairs — 30 days

Liquid-damaged devices are covered by a 30-day warranty. Because corrosion caused by liquid can continue to spread after treatment, no liquid damage repair can be guaranteed long-term, and further faults may develop that are outside our control. We will always explain the condition of your device and the likelihood of lasting success before you approve the work.

Refurbished devices — 12 months

Refurbished devices purchased from us include a 12-month return-to-base hardware warranty covering defects in the device itself. If a covered fault occurs we will repair the item, replace it with an equivalent, or refund it. Batteries in refurbished laptops and phones are tested to a minimum of 80% health at sale and warranted for 90 days. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, normal battery wear, cosmetic marks disclosed at the point of sale, or software faults caused after purchase.

Online and phone orders may be cancelled within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the 30-day right to reject faulty goods — are unaffected. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, those statutory rights.

Bring your device and receipt to Unit 3A, 3 Gibbons Street, Nottingham NG7 2SB, call 0115 855 9414 or email info@techrepairhub.co.uk. Warranty repairs are prioritised and carried out free of charge where the claim is covered.

Your data

While we take every reasonable care, you are responsible for backing up your data before a repair unless a backup service is agreed as part of the work. We will always warn you before any work that carries risk to data.

Refurbished devices

Refurbished devices are fully tested before sale, honestly described and sold with a warranty as stated on the listing, in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Uncollected equipment

Please collect devices within 60 days of being told the work is complete. We will attempt to contact you before taking any further action regarding uncollected equipment.
