Cyber Essentials Plus Certified
Cyber Essentials Plus is a UK government-backed certification scheme that independently verifies our cyber defences. Unlike the basic Cyber Essentials, the Plus level requires hands-on technical assessment by an accredited certification body — testers actively try to exploit our systems, not just review our paperwork.
What this means for you: When you hand us your laptop, phone or business data, you can be confident that our internal systems are protected to a verified standard. Customer enquiry data, device details and any information we handle during a repair are processed on infrastructure that has passed independent security testing.
This certification is increasingly required for businesses tendering for UK government and public sector contracts — and it reflects a genuine, tested commitment to cybersecurity, not just a policy document.
ISO 9001 Certified
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. It requires us to document, measure and continuously improve every aspect of how we operate — from how we diagnose a fault and source parts, to how we communicate with customers and handle complaints.
What this means for your repair: Every repair follows a consistent, documented process. We don't guess — we diagnose systematically. Parts are sourced from approved suppliers. Completed repairs are tested against defined criteria before they leave the bench. And if something isn't right, we have a formal process to make it right.

ISO 14001 Certified
ISO 14001 is the global standard for environmental management. Achieving and maintaining this certification means we have a documented environmental policy, set measurable targets, and are audited to ensure we're meeting them.
What happens to replaced parts: This is the question most customers never think to ask — but it matters. When we replace a hard drive, a screen, a battery, or a circuit board, that component doesn't just go in a bin. Under our ISO 14001 and Environment Agency obligations, every replaced part is handled as waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and disposed of through licensed recycling channels. Nothing we replace ends up in landfill.
We actively look for ways to reduce our environmental footprint — from prioritising repair over replacement (extending the life of your device is always better for the environment) to minimising packaging waste and choosing suppliers who share our values.
You don't need to worry about what happens to a replaced component after we've finished your repair. We take care of it properly, legally, and to a certified standard. No landfill. No improper disposal. No compromise.
Environment Agency Licensed Facility
Operating as a licensed facility under the Environment Agency means we are registered and authorised to handle, transport and process waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This is a legal requirement — not a voluntary commitment — and it comes with regular inspection and enforcement.
Why this matters to you: If a repair business handles old parts, broken components or end-of-life equipment without Environment Agency authorisation, they are operating illegally — and the parts could end up in landfill, shipped overseas illegally, or stripped by unregulated recyclers. This causes significant environmental harm and is a criminal offence.
As a licensed facility, we issue documentation for every batch of waste we process. If you're a business, we can provide waste transfer notes for your compliance records. If you're bringing in old equipment for recycling or data destruction, you can be certain it will be handled lawfully and responsibly.
GDPR Compliant
The UK General Data Protection Regulation sets out strict rules for how personal data is collected, stored, processed and deleted. As a repair business, we routinely handle devices that contain your personal data — emails, photos, contacts, banking apps, business files and more.
Our approach: We only access the data on your device to the extent needed to carry out the repair. We do not copy, read or retain personal files. Our engineers are trained on data handling obligations. When a device comes in for data destruction or end-of-life processing, data is wiped or destroyed to a certified standard (NCSC-approved methods) and a certificate is issued.
Customers can request a copy of any data we hold about them, ask us to delete it, or raise a complaint through our formal data protection process. Our full privacy policy is available on request.
